Bombes carbone britanniques à l'étranger
Carbon BLes projets d’énergie fossile sont susceptibles d’émettre plus d’une gigatonne de CO2 au cours de leur durée de vie.
Les tableaux ci-dessous présentent les résultats de nos recherches : les acteurs basés au Royaume-Uni, les entreprises de combustibles fossiles et les banques, sont impliqués dans au moins 117 Projets de bombe carbone in 28 pays représentant plus de 420 Gt d'émissions potentielles de CO2. Cela comprend les émissions provenant des projets d’extraction actifs et prévus.
En 2024, le budget actuel prévoit une probabilité de 50 % de rester en dessous 1.5 °C (2.7 °F) correspond à 200 Gt de CO2Les bombes de carbone listées ici nous feraient largement dépasser ce budget, réduisant ainsi nos chances de rester en dessous de 1.5 °C. improbable.

Les données financières incluent tous les financements d'émission de prêts, d'obligations et d'actions entre 2016 et 2023. Même si le contrat financier a pris fin depuis lors, les banques sont répertoriées comme financières des entreprises de la bombe carbone car elles ont été impliquées dans la période mentionnée.
